- 2025-10-19 — Policy created and published for Synexistech Solution (initial release).
Scope & Purpose
This policy explains how Synexistech Solution defines "Unlimited" and "Unmetered" for our shared and reseller hosting products and the limits that apply. Please read it before purchasing or using our unlimited hosting services.
Shared Hosting Limitations
For our shared hosting plans (Shared, Cloud, WordPress), the following technical limitations apply to protect overall server health:
- Maximum cPanel storage: 50 GB per cPanel account (this total includes website files, databases, and email storage).
- Storage must be used for active website content (HTML, PHP, images, application files). Using the account for generic file storage (movie files, software repositories, large archives, personal backups) is not permitted.
- Accounts that primarily host large files, media libraries, backups, or installers should use object storage, VPS, or dedicated servers.
Reseller Hosting Limitations
For Reseller hosting, these rules apply:
- Per cPanel account limit: 50 GB including databases and email.
- Storage must be for website operation; backups, movies, and large file distribution are not allowed.
- Abusive CPU usage or participation in DDoS or other attacks will lead to immediate suspension or termination. We will provide a backup before termination where feasible.
- For policy violations we typically issue up to 3 warnings. Each warning includes a 48-hour remediation window. If unresolved the account is suspended and given an additional 24 hours to resolve before termination (at which point restoration may not be available).
Bandwidth & File Transfer
We do not impose a fixed monthly bandwidth cap on accounts. That said:
- Normal visitor traffic for websites is allowed and expected.
- Illegal activity (unauthorised file sharing, using the account as a proxy, torrent distribution) or abusive high-volume transfer may result in suspension.
- We reserve the right to limit processor time, bandwidth, processes, or memory to protect other hosting subscribers.
- Reactivation fees (if applicable): $3 for first suspension, $8 for second; repeated violations may lead to termination.
CPU, RAM, I/O and Processes
Different plans have different resource allowances. If an account exceeds the allowed CPU/RAM/IO/process limits repeatedly (for example, more than five times in a 24-hour window), you will be required to upgrade to a higher plan (VPS or dedicated). Failure to upgrade may result in cancellation of the subscription; refunds (if any) will be prorated after deducting days used.
SQL Databases
Large databases can degrade shared server performance. As guidance:
- Individual database size of over 1 GB may trigger a request to optimize or reduce size.
- We may ask you to reduce database sizes or migrate to a VPS if databases negatively affect server performance.
Email Accounts
To protect mail system performance, each email account is limited to 5 GB of storage. Accounts exceeding this limit may be asked to remove or archive mail; persistent overuse may lead to account restrictions.
Reseller Unlimited Accounts
Reseller Unlimited plans allow you to create an unlimited number of cPanel accounts. However, creating many accounts does not bypass resource limits — if the reseller account causes server performance degradation (high CPU, DDoS, excessive I/O), we will require you to migrate to a VPS or dedicated server.
What "Unlimited" Means — and What It Does Not
"Unlimited" indicates that we do not impose a strict numeric cap for normal small-to-medium website operations. It does not mean unrestricted use for high-volume or server-intensive activities. Examples of uses that are NOT covered by "Unlimited" include:
- Large public file repositories, streaming, or media distribution sites.
- Mass storage of backups, archives, or installers.
- Cryptocurrency mining, distributed computation, or persistent background processes that consume large CPU/RAM.
- Using the account as a file sharing server or proxy for third-party downloads.
Enforcement Process
When we detect policy violations or excessive resource use we will:
- Send a notice describing the issue and recommended remediation.
- Allow a reasonable remediation window (typically 48 hours) to correct the problem.
- If unresolved, suspend the account and provide an additional 24 hours to remedy the issue. In urgent or abusive situations (security or DDoS), we may suspend immediately.
- Repeated or severe violations may lead to termination without refund for the period in violation.
Refunds and Billing
If a subscription is cancelled for violating this policy, refunds are evaluated per our standard billing terms. Where cancellation is for performance reasons we will prorate refunds after deducting usage days if applicable. Abuse-related terminations may not be eligible for refunds.
How to Avoid Issues
- Use caching, optimize images, and employ CDN where appropriate to reduce bandwidth and CPU load.
- Keep CMS, plugins, and scripts up-to-date and avoid poorly-coded extensions that cause high resource usage.
- Use external services for bulk email, large backups, or file distribution (object storage, VPS, or dedicated servers).
